Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
